BALLOON DISTRIBUTION AT ELWA JUNCTION, MONROVIA, LIBERIA

On September 8, 2012, we did our second balloon distribution in a community at the ELWA JUNCTION, Monrovia, Liberia. The gospel of the Lord Jesus was shared with the kids. The teacher, Pas. Benjamin Munford shared with the kids of Jesus' love for children. After the sharing, some kids prayed to ask Jesus into their lives.

The distribution of balloons followed the gospel message. It was wonderful the kids rejoice over the balloons.

Please pray for the kids of Liberia.

About Us

Jesus Evangelism Ministries (JEM) is a ministry of evangelism and training which seeks to build up the Kingdom of God by equipping God's servants in Liberia, West Africa. JEM is a holistic ministry which seeks to share God's love through meeting spiritual and physical needs. JEM was founded by Pastor Benjamin T. Munford in Buchanan, Liberia. The USA contact for JEM is Pastor Travis D. Hutchinson, Highlands Presbyterian Church (PCA) of LaFayette, Georgia.

Benjamin is a graduate of African Bible College (Liberia) and is pursuing studies in Community Development through the Chalmers Center of Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Benjamin is a former refugee in the Ivory Coast, where he ran a ministry training refugee women. He has also worked as a counselor for other war refugees with Samaritan's Purse.

Liberia is a West African country founded by freed slaves from the United States. Before its 15 year civil war (started by a former American serviceman), it was the most stable and prosperous country in West Africa. Two years ago it was declared a "failed state" and was considered the poorest country in the world. Please pray for the new democratic government and ask God how you can be involved with building up the Church in Liberia.
